Mass Article Control Review

Article Marketing Software Mass Article Control – Complete Review with none of the BS!

mass article controlThe Clickbank TOP PRODUCT of the moment and certainly a much used SEO tool right now, everyone in website marketing seems to be talking about this software product – It is because they have one of the best sales pages ever? Does it live up to the hype? Well, I tested it extensively for two full months….

1. It is easy to use? No question about this, the accompanying video training is short and to the point, you will up and running in minutes.

2. The Claim: Mass Article Control claims to be able to vastly improve the number of links you can get via article marketing by being able to submit hundreds of times as many articles to article directories. It’s got one of the best sales pages (landing pages) that I’ve ever seen and does a good job of convincing you to buy it.

3. How it works: is that you receive two pieces of software, the mass article creator and the mass article submitter.

The article creator is basically a synonym-based article spinner that churns out hundreds of ‘unique’ versions of an article, the idea being that you then submit a different version at regular intervals via the article submitter. Some people, myself included, may find this a little distasteful, as it is blatantly ‘cheating’ the article directories as really you are just submitting the same articles again and again, albeit that the articles read differently.

Still, the results cannot be denied, it’s a good way of building a lot of long term, high page rank backlinks to your websites and to put it mildly, it works and it works well.

The mass article creator software is easy to use and comes with an excellent short video tutorial. Like all article spinning software you will find yourself having to do a lot more work than you might have expected when you first start using it but the more you use it, the easier it gets to produce multiple articles as it is continually storing the synonyms (alternative words and phrases) that you are thinking of. Once you are finished with an article, you press one button and hey presto, hundreds of unique versions are created and saved.

The mass article submitter is nothing new either. You enter ONE ARTICLE VERSION via cut and paste from the wordpad documents created by the article creation software. It would have been nicer if they were auto-loaded but never mind. You press the submit button and this version of your article is submitted to the article directories listed. These are all top ranked directories so so far, so good.

It’s one of the fastest articles submitters I’ve used and for an extra premium you can ‘upgrade’ so that the submitter uses 20 top article directories rather than 10, although THREE of these never seem to accept articles via the article submitter AND the ArticleCat directory virtually always comes back with “error, illegal character detected, please use ASCII text only”. So really, your article version only gets sent to 16 directories, not 20.

I have asked if anyone else is getting the same errors and the answer is YES, so it’s not just me.

Together the two pieces of software work OKAY. I used the software to submit a total of 50 different articles and all 50 showed up on the search engines. However, only 6 of the directories gave me backlinks as for some reason, the other directories ignored my resource boxes. Upon further investigation, these directories do not have a resource box entry, you are simply supposed to put your resource box (with links to your target sites) into the main text area, which you CANNOT DO WITH THE SUBMITTER. I assumed that the Mass Article Submitter would do all of this automatically but no, so this is a BIG FLAW with the program. After submitting my 50 articles I was gutted that I now had to go to all of the directories and put in my resource boxes, which took hours. I might as well have not bothered using the submitter in the first place and just done it all manually. Still, I did get some good, fast backlinks from 6 top directories but a far cry from the 20 directories that I paid for when I bought into MAC.

When I bought into the MAC idea, the sales page gave me the impression that I would be submitting a different article version to each directory, which I thought was a very clever idea indeed as obviously you are going to be building 20 links back to your site with each submission, that will not eventually be reduced to just 1 link as Google penalises you for duplicate content.

This though is not the case. In fact you submit the same article version to all 20 article directories at once then have to wait about a week and submit the next version to all twenty, so that they don’t realise what you are up to. Although you are supposed to get 20 new links to your website pretty fast, this will eventually be reduced to one link under the Google duplicate content rules. There is of course nothing to stop you submitting as many completely different articles as you wish each day, which is where the MAC system will bring you the fastest results.

I thought that it would have been better to simply use the article creator to produce just 20 highly different versions rather than hundreds of not so different versions and then submit one version to each of the top 20 directories, thereby getting around the penalty Google imposes for duplicate content, whilst at the same time building more unique links faster. Then you could just go and ’steal’ another good article, respin it into twenty more versions and repeat the process.

I received an automated email from the MAC team saying that this is what the next upgrade would be so I have held off using the software since then (End of July 2009). As of now – end of September 09, still no upgrade. All I have received from the team at Mass Article Control is a steady bombardment of sales letters as I am firmly stuck on their buyers list.

When (IF) this upgrade happens AND the bugs are fixed, it will in my opinion be a very powerful article marketing tool and something that any serious article marketer should own as part of a selection of tools. Until then, it does NOT live up to the claims on the sales page.

Even after the promised upgrade, I just HAVE TO SAY that in my opinion the Magic Article Spinner and Submitter from Alexander Krulik, whilst being almost a secret in the article marketing arena, will still be both a better package AND a cheaper option, so the MAC team really needs to start over.

(See my review on the Magic Article Spinner and Magic Article Submitter which will be my next post)

VERDICT : If you use or intend to use article marketing as part of your overall SEO strategy, Mass Article Control is a great idea but there are other packages on the market that are bug free, deliver on their promises and are cheaper. So… sorry, I’d love the affiliate commissions for recommending it but right now, GIVE IT A MISS.

Easiest Way to Earn Cash with Twitter, Ever!

sponsored tweets! How about this for the easiest way to make money on twitter:

Get Followers.

Get paid.

That’s it. Okay so I suppose a bit more of an explanation is needed!

One way of getting paid for using twitter is to send advertising messages to your followers. Many people might not like the idea of doing this but, bearing in mind that only relevant, interesting messages should ever be tweeted, this can work a little like a highly targeted advertising campaign. If you’ve already told your followers that you’ll be recommending products and services every now and then, or you are in regular contact with your followers, this shouldn’t really be much of an issue.

Seen a great movie recently? Imagine getting paid for sending a tweet to all your followers recommending that movie… and getting paid for it! What you are about to discover is that, ‘sponsored conversations’ can earn you piles of cash and not compromise your integrity.

A couple of companies that are offering this pay-per-tweet facility include IZEA and sponsoredtweets.com.

IZEA recently paid $20,000 for one tweet!

IZEA is a social media marketing company “the world leader in sponsored conversations”. Operating a network of over a quarter of a million bloggers and some twenty five thousand advertisers, Izea are keen to emphasize that their service is ‘Ethical Sponsored Tweeting’. You can find out more at Izea.com

SponsoredTweets.Com allows you to set your own price for tweets.

Basically as a twitter user you can register at sponsoredtweets.com and get paid for sending advertising messages to your followers. And it can even all happen on autopilot.

Surely this is a really easy way to earn money online?

There are quite a few pieces of software available that enable you to gather twitter followers at an astonishing rate, even on multiple accounts and in different niches. And there are plenty of eBooks and video courses on the subject too, some free, some paid for. Personally I’m a very busy person so I normally choose the software route (I call this push button marketing!)

So, let’s say you’ve got something like the superb hummingbird software, especially designed for marketing on twitter. You can soon get a few thousand followers (a few days), then you just register your account with sponsoredtweets.com and it won’t be long before you are tweeting relevant adverts from your account, amongst your regular tweets.… and every time you do so, you get paid. Meanwhile all of your followers are visiting your websites and landing pages…

Rinse. Wash. Repeat…

You can easily set up multiple accounts targeting different niches and each will only take you a few minutes. Imagine thousands of followers, multiple accounts, several regular sponsored tweets… cash.

So what’s the catch?

Well there are three. First you will need to set up a twitter account (free). Second you will need to register with Izea / sponsoredtweets.com / both (free again).

Third, you need a way of getting thousands of twitter followers on autopilot. There are a number of ways of doing this as mentioned earlier. You can spend a few days (or weeks) piecing together the information, tips and ideas necessary by searching the web, reading articles and posts on the subject of getting twitter followers. This is also a free option (happy hunting!). Then, when you’ve put all of the clues together, you can then spend a few dozen hours more testing your new found knowledge, to find out what works and what doesn’t.

Alternatively, you can spend a few dollars and buy a ‘how to’ guide OR get someone to show you how it’s done. There are plenty of these around, just look.

Got a little cash to invest / want to start right away? Then get some software to do it all for you immediately. See my review on twitter follower software called Hummingbird
